What makes this event even more special is that Giving back to the community & to a good cause has always been a big part of the KAMSHUKA Gallery Shows. For the past 3years, we have given back to The Canadian Cancer Society ,teaming up to raise funds towards Breast Cancer Research.

This year its my pleasure to celebrate life with the proceeds going to a soon announced selected charity. Celebrating Life is a beautiful way to appreciate people. At every stage of this journey, we face giants....but it is how we overcome those Giants and rise above it that makes us Stronger. This year, I want to in cooperate my journey as I carry my 3rd child into this world. What better way for me to celebrate life than to celebrate those single moms & everyday moms who raise the next generation despite their situations and circumstances.

I realize how stressful and overwhelming Life can be when you are pregnant. Now when I imagine being pregnant with no support system and facing conflict at the same time of instability, it makes me wonder how some moms even do it. I want this year’s show to celebrate moms all over, but more so to celebrate the strength of life while we raise funds for those who are not so fortunate and have a hard time with the 9months and months after.
